Workshops signal key phase in developing ESA
We are now entering a very important stage in the run up to the establishment of the Education and Skills Authority (ESA) in April 2009.
As part of our change management strategy, we are taking forward an extensive process of engagement with senior and middle management staff across all major services in the current organisations.
In late April ESAIT issued invitations to staff in all education sector organisations to a series of workshops during May and June. These workshops will focus on specific service areas and will provide an important opportunity to draw on the knowledge and expertise of staff.
The agenda for the days is to develop the vision and objectives for services under ESA, making the most of the opportunities presented by the creation of the new organisation.
We will consider the key activities required to realise the vision and objectives, the current strengths and weaknesses and the priorities and risks in moving forward.
Invitations have issued to all those invited to attend and the first of the workshops will be held on 2 May.
