Minister announces funding for establishment of ESA
Education Minister Caitríona Ruane has announced she has secured £50 million to take forward the establishment of the Education and Skills Authority over the next three years.
Coming hard on the heels of the Northern Ireland Executive’s commitment to create the ESA by 2009, this provides further clarity that both the Executive and the Minister are keen that the planned reforms progress without delay.
