Gavin Boyd briefs Education Committee on progress
On Friday 22 February, ESA Chief Executive (Designate) Gavin Boyd joined colleagues from the Department of Education to brief members of the Northern Ireland Assembly Education Committee on progress in the Review of Public Administration in Education.
Among the areas covered by Mr Boyd were: the arrangements being put in place to manage the transition to ESA, the forthcoming programme of engagement with staff in the current education sector bodies; and the financial savings the new organisation might bring.
Mr Boyd also made it clear that the Committee would be part of the communication and consultation process in the coming months and that their ongoing feedback was both essential and desirable.
